“By Way of Revolution” is an interdisciplinary art project that creates space for powerful dialogue and communion amongst BIPOC women identifying (cis, trans, gender non-conforming) people, who have historically served as overlooked yet vital assets within care politics and activist labor. The research based project utilizes video, performance, social engagement, collage, and sculpture to examine the impact of civil rights eras of the past on today’s social justice movements.
